Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium (IMDM) 500ml

Quality Bio This modification of Dulbecco's MEM was developed by Dr. Iscove and his coworkers to assist in their studies of hematopoietic stem cells. They modified Dulbecco's MEM by the addition of HEPES buffer, selenium, additional amino acids, vitamins and sodium pyruvate, and potassium nitrate instead of ferric nitrate. This basal medium was supplemented with albumin, transferrin and lecithin to provide a medium which would support the growth of erythrocyte and macrophage prrcursors in a serum-free environment. - QB (Additional S&H or Hazmat Fees May Apply)
