QBSF-55 Serum Free Medium for Hybridomas & Monoclo

Quality Bio QBSF-55 is proprietary serum-free medium designed to support the growth of hybridomas and enhance the production of monoclonal antibodies. Some myeloma fusion partners are more demanding in their nutritional requirements than others. Two of the most often used partners, sp2/0-Ag14 and NS-1, require cholesterol in the growth medium. This need is met in QBSF-55. Less demanding hybridomas grow well and maintain their productivity in QBSF-55. The low protein concentration of this medium (67.4±15% µg/ml) simplifies the downstream processing and recovery of monoclonal antibody, and reduces losses due to co-separation with serum or other proteins present in high concentration in other media. - QB (Additional S&H or Hazmat Fees May Apply)
